Ma Jean was suh a beautiful lady, always willing to lend a helping hand. She truly was a Mother. I remember the times, we spent weekends with Cynthia is was such a pleasure. Those memories go far and near, she will be truly missed. RIP my dearest. Love Always ❤️ Thank God for the times well spent with Her.
To my dearest aunt Jean, words cannot express how much you will be missed. Your beautiful smile, and especially I'll miss hearing you say "Love you with all my heart and soul" But it's ALL RIGHT now auntie because you are with our LORD! I'm thankful my dad,( Jimmy Artis), your brother gave me part of your name. Valerie Jean (Val Jean) Artis. It fits like a hand in a glove. Growing up as a child I looked forward to spending some weekends with my cousins Reginald, Renell, and my closest cousin Gregory. Now rest on my dear sweet auntie and we'll meet soon when our Lord and Savior comes! I love you with all my heart and soul! (RIP)! Your baby niece, Val Jean Artis
Aunt Jean, you will truly be missed. You are definitely "ONE OF A KIND!" Love you with all my heart and soul, niece Edna~
"I love you with all my heart & soul." Aunt Jean wasn't afraid to love the Lord or her family. The very best of her journey here on this earth was loving her children & family. The one & only Jean Dixon, her big brother's (James, my dad) baby sister, and our precious MaMa Blanche's baby daughter. Her real name was "Aunt Jean" when I was a little girl, and I always looked up to my auntie. This was a constant memory of her when I was growing up with my cousins, Reginald, Cynthia "Renell"* & Gregory. She was a strong woman who lived righteously who enjoyed working inside & outside her home. Aunt Jean had a quiet dignity that spoke volumes. I will miss her, but knowing that she is with The Lord gives me joy when the thought of her passing saddens me. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds* through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7 KJV) Thank You Lord for Your joy & peace and the privilege to serve You!
Love, prayers & condolences to her family~ Gwen~

~Rest In Peace, Power, Paradise & Prosperity (RIPPP) sweet Aunt Jean~ "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3 KVJ Love, prayers & condolences to our precious family: ~Aunt Thelma, Gwen, Edna Mae, Jimmy Ray & Val Artis~❤️
