Ken, 38 years old, of Durham passed away as a result of a vehicle accident on Monday, March 17th 2025.
He is survived by his grandparents Nelson and Elaine Dement and Barry and Francis Perry, parents Kenny and Tammy, brothers Josh and Will (Kayla), children Kaden and Harlynne Broadwell (mother Melissa Harward) and Benny Blanton, partner Brittany Jackson and nephew Carson Broadwell. He has many aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly. Ken made friends wherever he went and will be missed by all.
Ken owned and operated his own small business with many customers who were extended family to him.
Ken loved anything outdoors. Camping, hunting, fishing, mudding in a 4x4, riding motorcycles, etc. He raced go karts and participated in several demolition derbies but his ultimate dream was to race at Orange County Speedway. He finally got that opportunity in 2021 and was awarded Rookie of the year, while making many friends at the track. He was currently preparing for the 2025 season.
His generosity will be remembered by all who met him. Always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
His family has planned a Celebration of Life for Sunday, March 23 at Holt Lake from 2-4pm. Please come as you are. Casual attire preferred.

Ken, I had seen you in years and even though life turned out how it did, I really did love you and I'm sorry for being so angry and crazy and young and dumb. I will never forget the things you thought me or the way you made me feel and I'm forever grateful to always have the best part of you when I look at Benny.
Family and friends of Ken. I enjoyed knowing Ken over the years. He was a good Automotive Technician. He has now seen the other side of things we can only imagine. He would probably be the first to encourage all of us to live closer to Jesus Christ. I love you Ken. Miss you. Nate
