Marvin always offered a great deal of wisdom and wit to each of our encounters at West Durham Baptist Church. He had a wonderful outlook on life and he will be remembered as a great friend.
Dearest Marvin, as we prepare to say goodbye, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the years gone by. You entered our family with open arms and within our hearts you will always hold a special place. Whether it was the countless times you lent a helping hand, or debated us about your precious NCCU and Duke, that always put a smile upon your face. As a perfectionist and organizer, you knew where all your treasures belonged that filled up your space. Even if unable, you would guide us with grace. "Just look in the drawer", you would sometimes insist, with a twinkle in your eye, so nothing was missed. There is so much more to say, yet the words feel so small. As we grasp with what we've lost, we struggle to find the joy in this at all. You have blessed our family with your presence and love and will truly be missed. But, through our faith, we can be reassured that you will continue to bless us from above. Although earthly things often fade, your spirit will forever shine, within the hearts of our family forever entwined.
We send our sympathy and sincere condolences to the Nunn/Atwater families Prayers that God will comfort you and help you keep the memories of Marvin always. Special to us the Gunn, Wiggins'family
