Obituary For Michael Shawn Dickerson

Michael Shawn Dickerson, 31, of Mebane, NC, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2025. He was a beloved friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mikey's love for those close to him was boundless, and if you were ever loved by him, know that you were loved with his whole heart.

Michael had a passion for fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He cherished the moments spent outdoors and with those he loved. He is survived by his parents, Regina Walls and Chip Dickerson (Christine); his maternal grandmother, Donna McFarling (Nana); paternal grandparents, Henry Dickerson and Margaret Maples; along with his aunts Ashley Nazworth (Jason) and Lisa Campbell (Jay); uncles Scott Dickerson (Brandi) and David Maples; many beloved cousins, and his faithful canine companions, Stormy and Daisy.

A special thanks to his dear friends John Evans and Kevin O’Neil for their friendship and support during Mikey's life. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his stepfather, Brian Wall; his great-grandparents, Henry and Marguerite Dickerson; and his brother and best friend, Josh. As we mourn, we take great comfort in knowing that Josh and Mikey are together again.

He will be missed tremendously by all who loved him. May he rest in peace.
