I took a Gov Docs class from Mike in 2004 or so, and worked with him at Davis. He was such a wonderfully kind librarian and instructor who helped us navigate some of the most confusing library collections. My deepest condolences to you.
Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. Mike always struck me as a very kind and attentive person in the short time that we were neighbors. We are sending you our condolences. Best, Meg and Sarah Baesmith
I am so sorry for your loss and have been thinking of you these last few weeks. Linda Wilson
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mike, but know that he must have been a wonderful human being to have your love for all of these decades. Bob you have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
My sincere thanks and appreciation go out to the staff of Hospice for the wonderful care and support that they gave to Mike (and me) during the last days of his life. Patrick Nagle, BSN/RN was his Duke-Hospice nurse and Sara McNulty, MSW, was his social worker. I am indebted to them for their kindness. -- John Robert "Bob" Newsome, Jr.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
