Mr. Rasheem Ahmed Buie, son of Gwendolyn Buie Wright, was born August 9, 1970, in Bronx, New York. Rasheem entered eternal rest Monday, July 7, 2025 at Pruitt Healthcare.

Rasheem was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and a proud Bronx native who was loved by his family and friends. He loved hard and never hesitated to spread his knowledge and wisdom to the people he loved. He was a hardworking man that always stressed the importance of taking care of his family. He eventually gained a passion for truck driving, ultimately owing and operating his own company until his health started to decline. Rasheem would always engage friends and family by asking “has anyone told you they love you today? Well, ”I do!"

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his dedicated mother; Gwendolyn Buie Wright (Mike) of NC, loving and devoted children; Ranisha Jackson of PA, Rasheem Buie of NY, Ya'Nae Buie of BY and Amir Buie of FL. One sister; Ayesha Jones (Maurice) of NY; three brothers; Sharif Willis (Natashia) of NC, Kasiem Willis of NC, and Roy Harris of NC. Three grandchildren; Jeremiah Buie, Cottrell Ellis, Izriayl Johnson. One Aunt; Yvonne Lynch (Ezell) of FL and a host of special childhood friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 12:00 noon at American Cremation & Funeral Service.

Public Viewing will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 9:30 am until 12:00 noon.
