Prayers and condolences to the family.
Robert really cared for all of the students at NCCU. I must admit he caught me coming out of the female's dorm a couple of times and let off the hook with a warning and his grace as a campus security officer. You have earned your wings King Grimsley. Prayers going up to the family for the comfort and peace that can only come from the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
Rest in Peace Grims as we referred to you Bro. Grimsley,
We have so many memories of how you protected us as student athletes in the 70's era. You were clearly our basketball teams advocate and protector and that Big Brother role you accepted and made sure we walked the straight and narrow. Rest well my Brother until we meet again!
Respectfully,

12 "This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. 13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." - Revelation 14:12-13
Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the love and memories you shared, strength in one another, and peace in knowing that Robert's life made a lasting impact. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. We will miss him!
Sending our deepest condolences and keeping your family in our thoughts during this difficult time. May cherished memories bring you comfort and peace.
Robert was a campus police officer during our years at NCCU, we always felt safe when he was duty. After graduation he sat next to us in the reserved section at O'Kelly Riddick football.stadium. What a wonderful surprise it was to know we would be there cheering our Eagles on together .He was an excellent baker and we had the opportunity to eat his wonderful melt in your mouth German Chocolate Cake. He called us "sisters" which we are. What a great man and we are surely going to miss you. Take your rest my friend, we will never forget you.
Sending our prayers and condolences to the family. Continue to soar in heaven Mr. Grimsley, my NCCU buddy & church member.
Sending love and prayers to my cousins. I am with you in spirit and prayers. Robert and my brother,Bub loved property (lawn care) management.
