Tarrik Leavitt

Mr. Leavitt was the best, someone who made me look forward to coming to work. We had numerous conversations about movies, super heroes, comics etc.. I'll miss him very much and while it hurts that he's gone I know he's at peace. Thank you for all the good conversations Mr. Leavitt, he often told me to keep being awesome and I will try my best to do just that for him. Rest in peace Mr. Leavitt

Taz is what we knew him by. I met him when I used to go to the Bojangle's in Durham, NC once every 2 weeks and get a 3 wing dinner and he would always take my order. Fast forward he started working and the Starbuck's in Barnes and Noble on 15-501. My husband and I had a standing date there every Saturday morning and he would greet us with coffee. We all became fast friends only to find out we lived by each other and we began a friendship. He watched my daughters grow up. We enjoyed many cookouts and dinners together.

It is hard that he has passed but he no longer has to worry about pain or be lonely.

My husband, family and I send our condolences.

We will miss you friend.
