Funeral service for Amelia Moore Smith 73, will be Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Noon at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Chapel with Rev. Jeffery C. Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026 at NHC Healthcare, Anniston.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was a proud 1971 graduate of Cobb Avenue High School. She attended Gadsden State Junior College. She retired at Fort McClellan Child Development Center.

Survivors include her son: Carlos M. Moore (A'del); her siblings: John E Moore, Frederick L (Beverly) Moore, Hope L (Douglas) Joseph; her grandchildren: Christopher, Latisha, Malik, J*Kobe, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Lee Moore and Beatrice A Moore, her husband, Reginald Smith, her brother, Rick Lee Moore, sister in-law, Bernadette Y Moore and niece, La*Tasha Moore.
