Graveside service for Betty J. Barker will be Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11 am at the Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. Gary Stewart officiating. Visitation on Thursday morning from 9 am - 10 am at Anniston Funeral Services, 630 S. Wilmer Avenue, Anniston. She passed away on June 7, 2026, at Cleburne County Nursing Home.

Betty lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and love for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the many lives she touched throughout the years. Survivors include her son, Ken (Jennifer) Barker, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Barker and Mamie Ruth Jones. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents of Cleburne County Nursing Home for the kindness, friendship, and exceptional care shown to Betty during her time there.

Special thanks are also extended to Enhabit Hospice for the compassionate care and support provided to both Betty and her family. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Pam Morris, who became a dear friend to Betty, showing her great love, compassion, and kindness, and who lovingly adopted Betty as one of her own. Betty's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
