Dallas "Gene" Cunningham
Funeral service for Dallas Gene Cunningham "Gene" 72, will be Monday, June 8, 2026 at 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Cunningham passed away on May 31, 2026 at NHC Healthcare. Mr. Cunningham graduated from Calhoun County Training School in the Class of 1971.
Survivors include his wife Anne Pearle Cunningham; his children: Demetria Roberts, Yolanda Roberts, Dallas D. (April) Cunningham, Shedricka Turner Cunningham, Daren Cunningham, Tawana Cunningham, Rodney Cunningham, Erica Cunningham, Tyrone Scales (April); stepson: Clarence Denson; siblings: Terry Wayne Bailey, Jennell Hatcher, Lauretta Deas, Etta Carey (Garth), Yolanda Bailey, Katrina Bailey, Sharika McGrue (Gorden), Michaela Bailey, 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Ol'felton Cunningham and Roseada Brown Cunningham, siblings, Debra Ann Bailey, John Lewis Brown, grandson, Quinton D. Taylor, stepson, Alexander Denson.
