Funeral service for Eloise Kendrick "Ella" 68, will be Saturday, July 9, at 2 pm at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Titus Robertson, officiating.

Interment with Military Honors will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Kendrick passed away on June 30, 2022 at Noland Hospital. Mrs. Kendrick's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Kendrick graduated from Cobb High School in 1971, and from Gadsden State Community College. She served in the United States Army and later retired from Bell South Company after 30 years of service. Survivors include her husband: Robert Kendrick; daughters: Natashia Thornton, Nastassia Kendrick; sons: Marcus and Jordan Kendrick; grandchildren: Markari Kendrick, Titeanna Thornton, Jaylen Thornton, Jai'Yonna Cochran, Aleecia Davis, Joshua Thornton, Dahjia Thornton, Richard Thornton (RJ), Malakhi Kendrick; siblings: Virgil B. Samuels, Jr., Mary (James) Tillett-Williams, Willie Samuels, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil V. Samuels, Sr. and Lillie Bell Ware Samuels, siblings, Earnest Ware, Sara A. White, Mae Frances Luckey, Sallie L. Samuels, Deloise J. Ferrell, Joyce Arnold.
