Memorial service for Mrs. Erevette E. Lawler 91, will be Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 2 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. E. Tramaine Solomon, officiating. Mrs. Lawler passed away on June 30, 2026. Mrs. Lawler was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She retired from Anniston Army Depot after many years of service. She volunteered for various organizations to include a reading program for children and the Senior Citizen Center.

Survivors include her son: Ray N. (Stacey L.) Johnson, Jr; her bonus son: Johnny R. Sears; her bonus daughter: Joann Bowens; her grandchildren: Shelton L. Hunter, Qubilah S. Abugri (Joseph), Roger See (Angela), Johnny R. Sears Jr., Feles I. Bowens, Maqueda V. Hunter, Sharay L. Johnson, Ray N. Johnson III.; great grandchildren: Kevin Greer, Jaden Smith, Stellan Johnson, Josiah Thomas, Miziah Stone, Nylah Bowens, Tyler See, Mason See; great-great grandchildren: Andrea Thomas, Ke'Aylah Greer, Ja'rya' Bryant, Kerayionna Bowens, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Roberts and Lemon Gigger Roberts, her husband, John Lawler, her sister, Annie Ruth,, her children, Sheila L. Sears, Robert S. Hunter (Shirley), Kevin L. Hunter.
