Obituary For Frederick Mays
Funeral service for Frederick J. Mays, 49, will be Wednesday, July 17, at 1 pm at the Greater Thankful Baptist Church with Reverend Byron Jackson, officiating.
Mr. Mays passed away on July 9, 2019 at Regional Medical Center. A wake will be on Tuesday evening 5 - 7 pm in the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel.
Frederick graduated from Anniston High School in 1989 and Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor and Masters degree. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. in the Eta Mu Chapter at Jacksonville State University. He was owner of a mental health based company "Making A Difference".
Survivors include his wife: Tanisha "Nikki" Mays; daughter: Ashley Mays; siblings: Jabbar Mays (LaDreaka), Robert Dorsey (Cleo), Montequilla Hardy, Crystal McNeally (Gary), father in-law: Bobby Pearson, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Robert Holloway and Conetta Hardy, grandparents, Alfonzo and Clara Copeland, mother in-law, Johnnie L. McClellen, great grandparents, Carrie and Luther Gaddis.
