Harris "Baby Boy" Montgomery
Funeral service for Harris Montgomery "Baby Boy" 66, will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at noon at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Roger Montgomery, Pastor and Rev. Brandon Montgomery, officiating. Interment will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mr. Montgomery passed away on January 17, 2026 at St. Vincent's East, Trussville. Mr. Montgomery's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service.
Mr. Montgomery attended Walter Wellborn High School, and later Jacksonville State University. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Montgomery retired from Southwire Company in 2012 after 34 years of service. He also founded Baby Boy's BBQ. Harris was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud family man. He was known for his warm spirit, strong work ethic, and infectious love for Jacksonville State University and Auburn football. Above all, Harris enjoyed spending time with family, cheering on his teams, and perfecting his BBQ.
Survivors include his devoted wife: Brenda Montgomery; his children: Kenya Montgomery and Krystal Montgomery; his grandchildren: Kristopher White and Marvin Walter; his siblings: Rosemary (Billy) Stokes, Lodessa Freeman, Rev. Roger (Gladys) Montgomery, Jerry (Vivian) Montgomery, Paul Montgomery, Terrance (Rosaline) Montgomery, Rev. Earl (Norma Jean) Montgomery, Warren Montgomery, and Alfred (Linda) Montgomery, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Odessa Montgomery; his brother, Benny (Mary) Montgomery; and his sister, Robbie Nell Montgomery. Anniston Funeral Service Jeffrey C. Williams 256-236-0319
