Obituary For James M. Neal
Funeral service for James M. Neal "Big Mac" 79, will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 am at the Oconee Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Oliver Gaston, pastor, Rev. Ervin Barclay, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Neal passed away on January 25, 2023 at Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Neal's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Neal was a hard working gentle giant who retired from Ft. McClellan in 1991 after 25 years and he retired from M&H Valve after 41 years of service.
Survivors include his children: Theresa Neal, James P. Neal; grandchildren: LaJerika Neal, Kristopher Neal; God daughter: Chandreka Foster; God grandchildren: Rayvion Harris, Darian Gaston; siblings: Dorothy Munford, Amy (Joseph) Foster, Larry Neal Sr. (Cheryl), Sherrie (Percy) Jones, daughter in-law: Diane Neal; in-laws: Fannie Foster, Willie Mae Elston, Wayne White, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Neal and Eula Prior Neal, wife, Edith Elizabeth Foster Neal, son, Timothy Neal, brother, Eddie Lee Neal.
