Obituary For Jo Helen Lucille Gamble Finley

Funeral service for Jo Helen Lucille Gamble Finley 77, will be Sunday, November 19, at 2 pm at the Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Baker, officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Ms. Finley passed away on November 10, 2023 at Anniston Health Rehab Services. Ms. Finley's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service.

She graduated from Calhoun County Training School in Hobson City, Class of 1964. Ms. Finley was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She retired from Anniston City School as the lunchroom manager of Constantine Elementary School. She was a member of the Ideal Friend #118 Order of Eastern Star, and also the Snow Creek District Missionary. Survivors include her sons: Charles (Kenya) Finley Jr. and Gregory (Kamisha) Finley; grandsons: Fontavious Garrett, Chase Finley; great granddaughter: Trinity Garrett; sisters: Georgia Jones, Kattie Johnson; brother in-law, Rev. Curtis Ware, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Bonner and Lucille Conway Gamble and six siblings.
