John Edward Foster, Jr.
Viewing for John Edward Foster, Jr. "Lil J" 47, will be Friday, December 22, from 1 - 6 pm at Anniston Funeral Service.
Mr. Foster passed away on December 15, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent's Pell City, St. Clair. He was a graduate of Anniston High School, Class of 1996, he founded The Foster Scholarship Foundation in 2018, ensuring that every Anniston High School Salutatorian received both a monetary scholarship and a plaque for their academic excellence. John established J's Wash on Wheels, also creation of Foster Loving Homes providing affordable housing for minorities since 2010. He was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: DeAundra S. Foster; his children; parents: John E. Foster, Sr. and Jacqueline Foster, his siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
