John Henry Moody
Funeral service for John Henry Moody 68, will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 am at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton L. Phillips, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow. Mr. Moody's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service.
Mr. Moody will have visitation on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 1 - 6 pm at Anniston Funeral Service. Mr. Moody passed away on December 26, 2024 at the Specialty Hospital of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham.
Mr. Moody graduated in North Carolina and later served 7 years in the United States Army Honorably. Mr. Moody retired from the Calhoun County Road Department after 25 years of service.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Moody; his sons: Kevin (Antuonette) and Charles (Alisha); his daughters: Nicole (Norris) and Erica (Reggie); grandchildren: Le'Niya, Kevin Jr., Akentia, Isaiah, Quindarius, Kaniejice, Quintavia, Quintaesha, Quinzae, Qvarius, Janiaz, Elijah, Rashad, Eliza; great grandchildren: Montavious, Kaydence and Kaiser; his siblings: Edmond Moody, Rosa Squire, Annie Patillo, Betty Cruse (Stanley) and Mary Jones (Don); nephews: Anthony Squire, Michael Cruse; nieces: Elizabeth Harvey, Sharon Patillo,Venus Brown, Christina Cruse; great nieces and nephews, cousins, very special friends, Lorenzo and Veronica Carter, and James Williams, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Mary Turner Moody, brothers, Jeremiah and Richard Moody.
