Service for Linda Akles 79, will be Saturday, October 17, 2026 at noon at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Brown, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Ms. Akles passed away on October 5, 2026 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.

She confessed Christ at BrunaValley Baptist Church. She served as the VFW State President of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her son: Martin L. Akles; daughter: Melissa T. Akles; siblings: Jennie Harrison, Helen Turmon, Alice (Billy) Harris, Ora (Jerry) Brown, Elizabeth Bradford, Nathan (Gloria) Bradford, Travis (Valerie) Bradford, Bernard (Clara) Bradford, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adell and Orazell Bradford, siblings, Elder Otha Hunter, Adell Bradford, Jr. and Danny Bradford.
