Maggie Dorman

Funeral service for Maggie Dorman 86, will be Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1 pm at the Sweet Home Baptist Church with Pastor Isaac Chappell, officiating. Interment will follow in Labannon Cemetery. Mrs. Dorman passed away on May 29, 2026 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham. Mrs. Dorman's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service.

Visitation will be on Thursday, 1-6 pm. Mrs. Dorman was educated in the Talladega School System. Mrs. Dorman was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church. She retired from the Oxford School System. She enjoyed cooking, playing games, traveling and shopping. She had green thumbs, she planted and raised flowers and vegetables.

Survivors include her sons: Randolph (Elaine) Davis, Anthony (Doris) Dorman, Winfred (JoAnn) Dorman, Bobby (Neicy) Hall; her daughters: Tammy Davis, Jacqueline Dorman Gilbert, Pamela Dorman; her sister: Sarah Davis; 26 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Molly Davis, her husband, Jack Dorman, her children, Robert Holyfield, Jack Dorman, Jr. and William Dorman, grandson William DeAnthony "Dee Dee" Dorman, siblings, Author Lee Jenkins, Henry Davis, Isom Davis, Ceola Davis.
