Obituary For Mary Alice Truss

Funeral service for Mary Alice Truss 89, will be Saturday, April 22, at 11 am at the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Ceary Embry, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Truss passed away on April 14, 2023 at the Wellstar Douglasville Hospital. Mrs. Truss's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Truss' health brought about her dual residency between Alabama and Georgia, also with dual worship at Faith Baptist Church and at Be Restored Worship Center in Lithia Springs, GA. Survivors include her daughter: Cynthia D. (Lyndale) Stargall; daughter in-law: Michelle; sisters in-law: Cathel Dowdle, Annie L. Phillips, Mary Gage (Charles), Beverly V. Ervin; grandchildren: Anton, Andre, Ayaba, Lewis, Kayla; great grandchildren: Mia, Colby, McKensi, Miles, August, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thomas Ervin and Ruth Ervin, her husband AD Truss; son: Andrew Truss; brothers, Willie Earl Phillips, Thomas C. Roy Ervin, Howard B. Ervin, Glennon D. Ervin, Clifford L. Ervin, Norvin Ervin.
