Obituary For Mary L. Pyles

Funeral service for Missionary Mary L. Pyles 83, will be Saturday, May 20, at 1 pm at the Anniston City Meeting Center with Dr. Marvin Crowe, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Pyles passed away on May 14, 2023 at Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Pyles remains will arrive at the center one hour prior to her service. She worked at the Nursing Home in Oxford for over 20 years. She retired in 2005. She was ordained a Missionary under the leadership of Pastor Alberta Boazmon. She served as a help-mate to Pastor Marvin Crowe at Peter's Rock Church. She served as a Sunday School Teacher, Program Coordinator, Sunday School Superintendent.

Missionary Pyles leaves to cherish her memories to her sons: James A. Brooks, Jerome Pyles, Tyrome Pyles, grandson raised as a son: Xavier Brooks; daughters: Marilyn J. (Charles) Little, Rebecca (Pearliss C.) Snow; siblings: Robert E. (Terry L.)Brooks, Sarah A. (William) Patrick and Louella Jackson; grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Brooks and Amanda P. Crankfield Brooks, brothers, John (Thelma) Brooks and Bishop Thomas (Brenda) Brooks.
