Funeral service for Michelle Denise Stanford 50, will be Saturday, May 25, at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Antonio Forbes, officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville City Cemetery. Ms. Stanford passed away on May 19, 2019 at RMC Stringfellow Hospital.

Ms. Stanford's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1987 and Ayer Community College. Survivors include her companion: Andra Johnson; children: Dwain K. Stanford (Kierriese), Teriauna M. Stanford (Travarus) and JordanC. Stanford (Bayley); siblings: Marcus L. Johnson, Michael Johnson, Sarah L. Johnson; stepmother: Darnella Johnson; grandchildren: Jayla, Kanlan, London, Meiryn; special siblings: Twanna Hearn (Larry), Pamela Forbes, Reginald J. Johnson (Celestine), other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Patricia Johnson, grandparents, John Henry and Mary Knox Johnson, Mary Francis McLain, Dollie Ann Clark and sister in-law, Yvonne Ragland Johnson.
