Funeral service for Robert Lee Howard 76, (formerly of Jacksonville) will be Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 2 pm at the Bethel Baptist Church, Jacksonville with Rev. Angelo Groce, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ararat CME Church Cemetery. Mr. Howard passed away on February 21, 2026 in Detroit, MI. Mr. Howard's remain will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. He attended Brutonville Jr. High School and graduated from Calhoun County Training School.

Survivors include his daughter: Veronica (Timothy) Johnson; his son: Jevell (Nicole); granddaughter: Randi; siblings: Cleo Jr., Brenard (Geraldine), Theo (Cynthia), Marcus (Latrilya), Ora Ann, Josephine, Annette (Reginald) Jarriels and Patricia (Minister Ricky) Bradford; uncle: Robert Howard; aunt: Earnestine Kirby and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Boozer Howard, his parents, Cleo Sr, and Jewell Howard and brother, Dwayne Howard.
