Funeral service for Sadie Mae McElrath 93, will be Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vernon Presley, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery.
Mother McElrath passed away on September 29, 2026. Mother McElrath was a member of Straight Gate Holiness Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl McElrath Moore; grandchildren: Shekita, Sheniqua, and Lee Moore; great grandchildren: Ayanna (Ailani), Tamiya (Koifi), Jamari, Jaleyah, Miracle, Tae'veon, J'Michael, and Kalyn, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elder Robert McElrath, mother Roberta Mixon, brothers Johnnie and Robert Mixon, and great grandson Jamarion Moore.

Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family. She was such a beautiful and true example for all of our to live in holiness and righteous before the Lord. Our last visit with her was awesome, she was still on fire for the Lord. She will never be forgotten. Much love to the family.
