Carolyn Powell was born on September 10, 1947. She was a fun-loving, warm-hearted woman who brought her own special spirit and personality to the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Carolyn was a devoted mother who raised two children: her son, Anthony, and her niece, Deserie, whom she loved as her own. She opened her heart and home to them, providing love, guidance, and a strong foundation. Carolyn took pride in caring for her family and helped raise them into respectful adults.

Carolyn completed the 10th grade and worked various jobs throughout her life. She was a hardworking woman who faced life with determination and did what was necessary to care for herself and her family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Christina Bundy, who passed away in 2005. The bond between twins is a special one, and Carolyn carried the memory of her sister with her throughout the years.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her son, Anthony Brown; Lauraniece Selby, her goddaughter, her niece, Deserie Bundy; her nephew, Angel Quinones; great-nieces, Shanell, Carmen, Renee, Aaliyah, Kayla and Ashley and great-nephews, Ray, Angel, and Nicholas; a host of great great nieces and nephews, family members, and loved ones who will forever remember her.

Carolyn was surrounded by family and the love of those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered for her fun-loving personality, her strength, her love for her children, and the many memories she created throughout her life.

Though she is no longer with us, Carolyn’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones. Her life was uniquely her own, and her presence will be deeply missed. May she rest peacefully and be reunited with those she loved who went before her.
