Obituary For Dasan Terrance Broadnax

Dasan Terrance Broadnax passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the age of 26. Dasan was born on Thursday, January 5, 1995 and was the adoring husband of Renata Rafaela Leguisamo Basantes. Dasan was a loving son to Yvette Davila McDaniel and Christopher McDaniel.

Known affectionately to some of his family and friends as "Day-Day", Dasan was born in Mount Vernon, NY and was raised in his beloved Harlem.

Dasan attended The Ethical Culture Fieldston School from Pre-K through 12th grade where he forged many life long and meaningful friendships with his beloved Class of '13 crew. He went to Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and completed 2 years, before returning home to concentrate on his life's passion of music. Dasan graduated top of his class from SAE's Audio Engineering program and then began his career as a full time musician and music producer.

Dasan leaves to cherish his memories, his wife and soulmate: Renata, Mother Yvette, Step-Dad: Christopher, Father: Shiron Broadnax, Grandmother: Brenda White. Grandfather Rev. Bobbie McDaniel, siblings in love: Gabriela, Mario, Jacob, best friend/brother: Andre Betts and an entire village of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Our prayer is that our Almighty God will give us His peace and comfort as we mourn the loss of our beloved Dasan. May Dasan's memory always be a blessing.
