Debora Chandler was born on April 8, 1963, to Dorothea and Paul Thompson in Brooklyn, NY. She unexpectedly passed on July 29, 2025.
Debora, being born and raised in Brooklyn, went to Franklin K. Lane H.S. and obtained her college degree at BMCC. She had worked for the city for 40 years at the Mayor's Office, District 9, and HRA, just to name a few.
Debora is survived by her five children, Daitima, Daniel, Danique, Daquan, and Berniya, as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 brothers.
