Dijon Turner was born on November 6th, 1998, to his parents, Lisa Turner (his loving mother) and Jeffrey Ashley (his twin), nicknamed Dookie, Dj, and Twin. Dijon departed this life on February 22nd, 2024. Dijon attended public school in the Bronx, New York. He loved the ladies, big, small, plus-sized, and tall; he didn't discriminate. The ladies loved him as well. Dijon was a gentleman. To know him was to love him.
Dijon had a contagious smile. Whenever you saw him, you saw his beautiful, pearly-white teeth. He was one of the most handsome young men. He took pride in his physical appearance. He loved to look good and smell good. You couldn't tell him anything! What we loved the most about Dijon was his heart of gold. He loved his family, especially his sisters, Alisha and Jontae. They were his go-tos for everything. He could count on them.
He would help anyone who needed it; he was a protector. Dijon loved to have fun and joke all day. He was always on the move and never in one place for too long. Dijon had a passion for rapping. When not on the go, he was in the studio recording his music and even shooting music videos. He was talented beyond measure and well-loved. To think about it, he could have been a comedian. No, seriously, he cracked jokes all day, and that's Word to L's. Which was his favorite thing to say!
Dijon leaves to mourn his mother, Lisa Turner, and father, Jeffrey Ashley. His grandfather James Ashley, his brothers Tyrone, Davon, Jeffrey, and Nasir (who wouldn’t let anyone throw dirt on his name), his sisters Alisha (his go-to and protector), Jontae (his twin and other half), Jasmine, and Tia. His sister-in-law, Miriam Turner, and aunts Elaine Turner, D’juna Massey, Yvette, Etta, and Monique Ashley. Two godparents, Ms. Marilyn McFarland and Erica Colon. His nieces, Imani Turner, Ralia Turner, La’Niyah, Mia’Mor Robinson, Bria Philips Nephews, Chauncey Turner, Juelz Ashley, Kashmere Ashley, Tashiem, Ashton Ashley, Chase Turner, Kyrie Ashley and Everett. In addition to his cousins, Sylvia C. Turner, Ozishiah Turner, Keyante Hunter, Patricia Turner, Ragine Turner, Savannah Rodriguez, Shania Rodriguez, Mahogany Rodriguez, Shawna, Daquan, James, Tyquan, Jayvone, Andre, Dhannayia, LaLa Shatia, Ziamara, and a host of friends.
