Emily Elizabeth Lee was born on May 27th, 1956 at Metropolitan Hospital in NYC to the Albert and Evelyn Lee. Emily received her education in the New York City public school system. Emily grew up in her family church, with a huge family that was full of love and faith in God, in New York Gty and in North and South Carolina.
Emily was a member of the UBA Cadet Corp. Emily believed in doing it her way with an affectionate smile and strong will. She could light up a room and keep everyone on their toes. Emily loved to cook and dance and sing.Yes, she could dance. She would at times be a comedian. Emily's favorite words were ‘’I know.'' Emily resided in the Bronx at Bronx wood Assisted Living until she became ill. That didn't stop her from telling Mika to go get her favorite RED coat because her red and white sneakers were with her.
Emily loved being outside and was a lover of coffee and food, mainly her favorite, bacon egg and cheese or shrimp fried rice. She enjoyed playing scratch offs, enioying her Newport's 100's and most of all she loved meeting and speaking to people. Her most impressive line was "Give Me Change not coins."
God called Emily home on May 20, 2025, at Terence Cardinal Cooke Nursing Home. Emily's parents Albert and Evelyn Lee and bonus dad Ernest Mason
preceded her in death along with her 2 sisters Brenda and Alvina (PT).
Emily leaves to cherish her loving memories with her childre" Tamika Lee and Arthur Amed Lee. Granddaughter: Tiara Lee Brown Great Grandson: Kairo Smith Siblings: brother: Albert Lee, sisters: Kisha Pacheco, Leshor Bellinger, Eva Lee-Rhodes, Gail Mason Shirley Mason, Shonda Alexander Aunt: Lorraine Townsend of Bronx, NY Uncle: Leon Charley of South Carolina Great Aunt: Peggy Young of Harlem New York City Host of nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members Emily had many friends from the Jefferson Houses on the Eastside to the Westside.Everyone knew who she was. NO ONE could ever forget E-Moe. We win all miss and love you forever until we meet again. Rest ln Paradise.
