Francine Wilson, daughter of John and Alice Wilson was born February 14th in South Carolina. She was the youngest of 6 children and the last to be called home to our Heavenly Father.
Francine was a fixture of the community of Harlem, NYC for over 50 years. Francine was known as Auntie Fran by some, Mama by others, but her smile and wonderful sense of humor and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.
Francine worked as Security Personnel for 10 years at ABC Graham School at Echo Park, New York. Everyone there loved her wit, humor and her warm personality. She was a person that anyone could depend on. She always made the people around her laugh and feel accepted. Even though Francine never had children of her own, she absolutely loved and enjoyed working with the children at ABC Graham School.
Forever the fashionista, she had great taste in clothes and her own sense of style. She was a God-fearing woman that treated every day as a blessing. She certainly lived her life to the fullest. Francine is preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters: Jervey Wilson, Leroy Wilson, Ida Wilson, Anna Belle Wilson and Rose Ann Miles. She is survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, colleagues, neighbors and many, many friends. She will be profoundly missed and cherished always.
