Gloria Green-Obituary Welcome to all of you. I have the great opportunity to speak for a few minutes about Gloria Green, whose life we are celebrating here today together. Gloria Green was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 29, 1934 to Jose and Beatrice Delima. She attended school and was raised in this community. She married to Robert E. Green Sr. and had 5 children. During this time, Gloria touched many lives as a school aide in the public education system, as well as a PTA President for many years. She found great joy in raising not only her children but the children of PS 46 in Harlem Manhattan, NY. She loved this neighborhood and continued to support its growth right up until the end. Gloria was very loving to her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She had a great sense of humor that stuck out right up to her final moments. She was known to make everyone smile. She was extremely devoted to her family and will be terribly missed. Gloria Green, 86, passed away on February 15, 2021. She was predeceased by husband, Robert E. Green Sr; sons, Johnnie “Butch” Jr. and Rodney “BooBoo”; and daughter, Cheryl “Mimi”. Gloria is survived by sister, Virginia; sons, Kevin and Robert Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. We want to thank everyone who reached out with condolences. Your phone calls, texts, emails, and gifts were much appreciated. As a family, we have received many, many expressions of condolences from all the lives Gloria has touched over the years. Theirs and your loving words match those that echo in my head with examples of her tireless and determined support of her friends and family throughout her life. As a parent and friend, Gloria had an extraordinary ability to make each of us feel stronger and each relationship special. She taught her children how to love deeply. She
