Ilka Diyel Pringle, known for her bold voice, passionate spirit, and unforgettable presence, passed away on January 24, 2026, in The Bronx, NY, at the age of 55.
Born on June 12, 1970, in The Bronx, NY, Ilka “Tameka” lived loudly, loved fiercely, and never did anything halfway. She was outspoken, dominant in the best way, and deeply protective of those she loved. A natural advocate, Ilka believed in speaking truth, standing firm, and not backing down when it mattered.
She loved playing cards, bingo, singing, rapping, dancing, and being surrounded by laughter. Music moved her, and when she danced, her joy and fire were unmistakable.
Above all, Ilka was a mother. Her children are her legacy, and she will be remembered for her passion, humor, strength, and the powerful way she showed up in the world.
She was preceded in death by her brother Daricell Pringle and father James Outten. She is survived by her children X-Zoria Pringle (SC), DeeJay Pringle (NY), Hashim Pringle (SC), Shadae Pringle (NY), Genuine Everett (NY), Ashanti Everett (NY), and Jarule Biddle (NY); her grandchildren Sahiyia, Kahmia, Trennity, Genuine Jr., Giavonna, and Za’kiylah ; her mother Lueida Outten (SC); and her brother Kalonji Outten (Melanie) (Germany).
