On May 1, 2026, Jasper Rouse became an angel and gained his wings.
Jasper Rouse was born on February 18, 1941. He was the sixth child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Beatrice Rouse. Jasper, lovingly known as “Budd,” was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina. He was educated in the North Carolina school system.
After graduating from high school, Jasper left North Carolina in search of growth and new challenges. His journey led him to New York City, where he became a truck driver. He worked for B&G Pickle Company for over 35 years and retired from the same company. He had a true dedication to and love for his job.
Jasper, affectionately known as “Budd,” loved to travel and explore. He traveled often with family and friends and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed being active in his community and visited several community centers, where he ate, played Bingo and Pokeno (his favorite games), and participated in many other activities. He loved sharing fellowship with everyone he met.
Jasper was known for enjoying life and living each day to the fullest, especially in his beloved Chevy Impala.
