Jeffery D. Grier Obituary Jeffery Darryl Grier was born in New York City, New York to proud parents John and Clara Grier, on July 22, 1958. He is one of six children: John, Lana, Stephanie, (Cecile and Rachelle). His parents, John and Clara Grier, along with his two sisters Cecile and Rachelle preceded him in death. Jeffery attended P.S. 125, JHS 43, and Central Commercial High School where he received his high school diploma. He also took advanced courses at LaGuardia Community College. Jeffery was previously employed at Radio City Music Hall for several years, along with Access-A-Ride, and a bus driver for New York City transit. He enjoyed his family and would often try to protect them from harm's way. He would often give them advice on the do's and don’t's, and was always willing to help someone if he could. Jeffery enjoyed watching his favorite television program Star Trek, along with cooking. He always made several attempts to gain positivity and control in his life. He leaves to mourn his passing daughter and son-in-law, Shantell and Darnell Watson, and grandchildren Darnell and Dominick Watson. His granddaughter Deja Watson preceded him. Also, his daughter Jasmine Chisolm and grandchildren Kayden and Jace Chisolm. His brother and sister-in-law, John and Marsha Grier along with two sisters, Stephanie Grier and Lana Brown. His twelve nieces and nephews who he adores, Latanya (Shawn), John, Lataisha (Alex), Josh, Lana (Reginald), Leslie (Keisha), Lajuan, Priscilla, Chanele, Brianna, Shaqueena, and Kayla , along with a host of great nieces and nephews. His bestie and childhood friend, Guy Hunt, and a host of family and friends. Jeffery touched many lives and will be greatly missed. We love you Jeffery, but God loves you more.
