Julian Wesley Green, affectionately known as Johnny, was born on August 22nd, 1969, in Kingston, Jamaica, to mother Beverly Cofield and father John Green. At the age of 5, he migrated with his siblings to New York City on November 2nd, 1974. He attended school in Harlem at P.S. 123 Elementary School and I.S. 10 Middle School, and continued onto Brandeis High School. He furthered his career by working at Union 23BJ. Julian attended the dance school of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Johnny was a very kind, polite, and respectable young man that was loved by everyone he came in contact with. Johnny experienced the good and bad times skillfully while navigating the rough and rugged terrain of Harlem.
On that fateful day of February 10th, he fell ill and was transferred to the hospital, where he succumbed to his illness and ultimately his demise. Johnny is survived by his two daughters Maja and Dominique, mother Beverly, dad John, sisters Janet and Angela, and brothers Courtney and Collie. His four grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and the Armstrong family. He will be missed dearly by all. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
