Karen was the beloved daughter of the late Josie Mae Gunn Webb and Thomas Hamilton Webb Jr., who together nurtured her kind soul and artistic talents. Throughout her life, Karen remained deeply connected to her family, sharing a special bond with her sisters, Robin Gunn Muirhead (Clarence), Keturah Webb (Tracey), Matieah Webb Concepcion (Lamont Sr), Anna W. Webb, and her brothers, Thomas M. Webb and Barry Scott (Roxanne). Her siblings will forever cherish the laughter and love they shared with Karen, who was known for her gentle humor and shy yet brilliant demeanor.

A proud graduate of Clara Barton High School, Karen was known for her sharp intellect and the warmth she brought to every room she entered. Though her professional life was dedicated to being a homemaker, her true vocation was her love for the arts. Karen was a gifted artist, finding joy in arts and crafts, crocheting, knitting, poetry, and photography. Her drawings were not just expressions of her creativity but a window into her tender soul.
