Lynett was born May 1, 1967 to Doris Surles-Johnson and Joseph Jacobs in Manhattan, NY. She departed this early life to enter eternal rest on September 24, 2023 in Brooklyn, NY. Lynett started her academic endeavors at Public School 188, Junior High School 25, and finally Murry Bergtraum High School in Manhattan, NY. Lynett grew up surrounded by her large family. She had eight siblings. Seven brothers named Joseph Jacobs, Leonard Johnson, Jermel Jacobs, Jason Johnson, La'nell Weeks, Jonathan Weeks, James Weeks and one sister named La'Lander Johnson.
