Obituary For Stephen Rivers

Stephen Rivers was born on July 7, 1962, in Bronx New York to Mr. George Rivers and his wife Gerta Rivers.

His family called him Stevie and as an adult he smiled whenever he heard it.

Stevie's inner strength and joy for life was evident from an early age. He was kind, jovial, and fiercely loyal to his siblings and parents as a whole. Though Steve's heart was huge and his love for so many is well known, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that his closet relationships were to his brothers Deedee and Lyn. They were inseparable.

There is no question that he is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Stephen Vincent Rivers has left us, but he is survived by his mother Gerta O. Rivers, his sister Carla, as well as his beloved niece Danielle, his nephew Jason and his children Dashae, Shadae, Desiree, Tatiana and Dora Mae. He is also missed by scores of aunts uncles, cousins, friends, and his circle of brothers Scott, Melvin, Earl, Derrick, Ralphie and "Boogie".
