Tiesha Renee Fisher was born on April 20, 1978, to the parents of Debra Fisher and Astor Anderson (aka Bishme). The eldest of six siblings, Tiesha, wore multiple capes. She was a big sister, best friend, confidant, caretaker, mediator, referee, niece, cousin, spouse and mother.
Tiesha was quiet and shy but when she opened up and started talking, anyone she engaged with knew how insightful, intelligent and funny she was.
Tiesha attended the NYC Public School System and received an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration.
In 2017, Tiesha met her partner, Marc Robert, whom she loved unconditionally. In 2018 she became the mother to Marc Jr. Tiesha took pride in being a mother. This was her most important cape of all. When speaking of her son her face lit up and her words came forth like sunshine. This was noticeable whether in person, over the phone or through text messages.
On November 11, 2024, Tiesha was called home to be with the Lord. She is survived by mother, father, siblings β Markieta, Michael, Randall, Darnelle and Destiny, her spouse Marc Sr, son Marc Jr, as well as a host of family and friends.
EPILOGUE:
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
It is okay to mourn and weep but know that joy is coming again. Allow yourself to mourn and weep because Tiesha was special to all of us.
When the joy comes embrace it. Think of all the wonderful and funny times you have had with Tiesha and if you feel led to do so, dance and dance like no one is looking. Dance because she has gained her wings, and heaven has gained a beautiful flower in the garden of angels.
