Tolton Billy Smith born May 19, 1959 went on to be with the Lord on May 7, 2025. He grew up in the Bronx until his family moved to Harlem, NY.
Tolton spent a majority of his youth finding ways and means to survive as a young black male growing up in the late 70's though the 90's. He faced many challenges, but overcame with numerous victories. Tolton walked as a champion.
According to Tolton’s family he came out like a little Einstein with glasses, always exploring and trying to figure out the world. He developed skills at BMCC and BCC that allowed him to become an entrepreneur. He was a proud owner of a successful business that lasted for over 2 decades. He continued to reinvent himself in areas he was passionate about, like helping others. He became a Phlebotomy Technician and an EMS Technician. Later on in life, he decided to join the NYC Sanitation Enforcement Unit, which he did for 10 years until his untimely passing.
