Willie Roy Bulger Jr. Obituary
Willie Roy Bulger Jr. was born August 5, 945 to the late Willie Ed Bulger Sr. and Rosell Edwards. Willie was the oldest of 11 children, three proceeded him in death, Thomas Braunson, Sandra Edward and Matthew McKenith. Willie was called home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2022, during a short stay at Calvary Hospital, in The Bronx, NY. Willie was married to Janice Y. Roach Bulger and from this union two children were born Deidra and Tara. Later in life he was blessed with three bonus children Breah, Colby and Natalie. After Willie graduated from high school he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1967, in which he earned a purple heart. After serving in the Marines, Willie then joined the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1970. After retiring from the military he was employed with the Department of Immigration as a Deportation Office for several years, during this time he earned a Bachelors and masters degree in Psychology Willie leaves to cherish his memories: Deidra Bulger (Ronnie), Tara Griffith, Breah Bulger, Colby Bulger and Natalie Bulger all of Athens, GA; Grandchildren: Ramelho and Knowledge; Siblings: Alice Davis, Brenda (Eddie) Sellers, both of The Bronx, NY, William Mckenith of New York, NY, Errol (Iris) McKenith of New Orleans, LA, Tyrone (Lorna) Mckenith of New York, Deidra (Joseph) Jefferson of Columbia, SC and David (Renee) McKenith of New York, NY; Sister-In-Laws: Bessie Willis of Hempstead, NY, Alma Stroud, Gwen (Walter) Rittenbery, Pam (Henry) Haynes, and Lisa (Michael) Wilmore all of Athens, GA; Brother-In-Laws: Alvis (Diane) Roach, Dennis Roach, and Freddrick (Jackie) Roach all of Athens, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Sandy, Mildred, Alice and Robert for all of their help and support of Willie over the years.
