An Expression of Sympathy from the McQueen Family
The McQueen Family honors the life and the legacy of Deacon Anderson Casey, Jr. For many years, he served faithfully at the Greater Highway Churches of Christ under the executive leadership of the late Bishop R.F. Davis, Sr. and the late Bishop Benjamin C. Leach, Pastor of the local assembly.
Deacon Casey was not only a devoted servant in the Lord's house, but also a pillar in the community and a dear friend to our family. We shall always cherish how his voice would ring out when he sang his favorite song, "I Want to Be Ready to Walk in Jerusalem, Just Like John." The joy and the conviction in his singing lifted our spirits and reminded us of the hope we share in Christ.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the Word of God: "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him" (1 Thessalonians 4:14).
To his family, church, and all who loved him, we extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers. May the peace of God be with you all.
Lovingly submitted, The McQueen Family
Isaiah 40:31 reads, "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint". My sympathies to the Casey family. I will be praying 🙏 for you all. God bless. Elizabeth Rogers
