It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Hayes, who transitioned on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina. The family will be receiving friends at 3877 Golden Key Road, Conway, South Carolina 29526, and 608 18th Avenue South, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
We invite you to join us in honoring the life of Donald Ray Hayes.
Public Viewing for Donald Ray Hayes will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Samuel Bartell Memorial Chapel located at 1309 East Calhoun Street, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Celebration of Life for Donald Ray Hayes will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12:00 (NOON) at Mars Hill Bibleway Holiness Church located at 404 South 4th Avenue, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.
Donald Ray Hayes' final resting place will be at Roadside Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dillon, South Carolina.

I didn't know Donald long but for the length I knew him, I knew he was a kind soul. I met Donald at the day center he attended and was privileged to take him home and pick him up a few times. We bonded over his love of fishing always asking me to break him out the day center early and take him home. Donald could always put a smile on anyone's face. He will be greatly missed by everyone who came into contact with him. Prayers for the family
