Jimmy Lee Bellmon, son of the late Blanche McRae Bellmon and James Lee Bellmon was born February 19, 1955 in Montgomery, AL and departed his life on Thursday, June 24, 2021. He attended the public schools in Dillon County, South Carolina. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friends to many. He was surely one of a kind. Anyone that knew him, knew he had a “Heart of Gold.” He was loving, funny and very outspoken. His dedication for others will forever be missed. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Daisy Delois Bellmon; five children: Jimmy Dewan (Kendell) Bellmon, Quincy Devan Bellmon, Tara Lavise Bellmon,, Stanley Marquese Bellmon and Ebony Ann (Christopher) Covington all of Dillon, SC; four sisters: Julia Gilchrist, Elizabeth (Thomas) Washington, Doris (Oliver) Evans, Frances (Charles) Roberts; two brothers: Willie Major Edward of Washington, DC and James Bellmon who preceded him in death; two sisters in law: Barbra Dunham and Vivian (Eugene) Kelly; one brother in law: Jerry Lee McClain all of Dillon, SC; seventeen grandchildren, one great-grand child and a host of nieces, nephews and one special friend, John Henry Davis.
