With heartfelt condolences to the family of Lawrence Rogers
I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lawrence. I have had the privilege of knowing Lawrence as both a friend and coworker for close to 13 years. It was always a pleasure when our schedules allowed us to work together. It seems like we were just talking of his road trips with his daughter to look at colleges or stories of fishing with his son. Lawrence was truly a man of integrity. He believed the only way to do a job was the right way. Lawrence carried the core values of the Air Force, Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do into civilian life. I pray that God will ease the sadness felt byLawrence's family and friends and replace the sadness with beautiful memories of their life together. I am blessed to have had Lawrence in my life, even for a short time.

As Lawrence's Union rep for 8 years, I knew him to be an honorable, hardworking, loyal man. He was thoughtful, never rash, and a fierce advocate as shop Steward for his coworkers. This is a terrible loss for his family, his friends, his coworkers, and his Union. On behalf of the International Association of Machinists, I offer my heartfelt condolences to all who loved this fine man. Rest in peace brother.
