Alvin Jerall Rogers was born May 15, 1954. Alvin departed this world peacefully on October 14, 2022 at home with his wife, Mrs. Willette Rogers. Alvin was born to Mrs. Katrina Rogers-Murphy in Dillon, SC. As a child he relocated to Miami, Florida in which he lived out his childhood years attending Charles R. Drew Elementary School, Charles R. Drew Middle School, Miami Northwestern Senior High School and Florida Memorial University located in Opa Locka, Florida. Alvin met and married, Ms. Joann Alexander of whom he shared a daughter, Altrina. He then later met and married Willette Cruse of which they shared a union together for 38 years. At a young age, Alvin accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, which led to him becoming an Ordained minister in 2006 under the leadership of Pastor R.H.Kelly of Church of God in Christ in Miami, Florida. Alvin then returned back to his birthplace of Dillon, SC in 2010 and joined Outreach Ministries and served as a Minister under the leadership of Bishop Tony Washington until 2015. He later joined, Ark of Safety House of Prayer in 2016 and became a faithful member under the Leadership of Bishop Jesse Whittington until his passing. Alvin was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Katrina Rogers-Murphy and his brother Christian Murphy. He is survived by his loving wife Willette Rogers; Brother; Hosea Israel, Aunt; Elizabeth Rogers, His children: Kathasha Collins, Altrina Rogers, Willie( Kimberly )Jackson, Tyrone( Tanya) Cruse. Grandchildren; Terrance, Tyresse, Autumn, Makaila, Jahmari, Marcus, Skye, Corey, Vanessa, Nevaeh,Trinity and Taijun, and a host of other close friends and relatives including Betty Mitchell, Paul Mitchell and Jordan (Carrie) Rowell.
