Gerome Hamilton, son of the late John Henry and Sarah Hamilton was born on February 27, 1945. On Saturday, March 27, 2021 he departed this life at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina.
He attended the public schools in Dillon County, South Carolina. He was married to Mae Ella Hamilton.
Gerome was preceded in death along with his parents, John and Sarah Hamilton; his wife: Mae Ella Hamilton.
Gerome leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories ~ his children: Stephen {Miranda} Hamilton, Ulysses Hamilton, John L. {Yolanda} Hamilton, Delano Hamilton, Edward {Sharon} McEachern of NC, Rubie Dell McCormick, Amanda Taylor all of Dillon, SC; his grandchildren: Lateasha Galloway, Jaquasia Galloway, Kadem Johnte Hamilton, Omar McCollum, JaNaijah Hamilton, JaCarius Manning, Lacarius Manning, Zsyasia Gordon, Dieasha Lampley; one sister: Ruby Lee Ivey of Brooklyn, NY; seven sisters-n-law all of Dillon, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
