Obituary For Mr. Johnnie Wheeler

Johnnie Joseph Wheeler was born on March 25, 1954 in Dillon County, South Carolina to the late Albert Sr. and Mary Lee McRae Wheeler. After a short illness Johnnie departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.

Johnnie attended Columbus High School in Lake View, South Carolina. He attended Hazel Grove in Hamer, South Carolina. He was employed by Lewis Tree Company. Johnnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends making everyone laugh. Johnnie would laugh and talk to people that he didn’t even know.

Johnnie was preceded in death along with his parents: Albert Sr. and Mary Lee McRae Wheeler; his brothers: Charles Wheeler, Calvin Wheeler, James Wheeler and two sisters: Gwendell Wheeler and Hazel Leach.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories ~ his wife: Cornelia T. Wheeler; four children: Connie Wheeler, Diane Wheeler, Johnny {Ava} Wheeler, Tina Wheeler all of Dillon, SC; grandchildren: Destiny {Tyre} Coleman, Diego Wheeler, Ja’Vonta Davis, Quainsha Wheeler, Taliyah McNeil, Keiondre Wheeler; one great grandchild: Kaden Worley; his siblings: Mary McDaniel, Willie {Angela} Wheeler, Daisy {Randolph} Dixon all of Dillon, SC, Albert Wheeler Jr., Rebecca McDaniel, Alberta Kelley all of Lake View, SC; other sisters-n-law and brothers-n-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
